I would suggest you contact two sailing clubs in the Ft.Lauderdale area and see if they can help you. I know from past experience that they have members who are frequently in the Marsh Harbor area.

Just a thought but when heading north from Miami why not stop in the Abacos, the northern most part of the Bahamas and only 50 miles due east of Palm Beach.

I have done several trips, Ft.Lauderdale to Bimini, always motor sailed to Miami and then motor sailed approx. 129 degrees to Bimini, leaving Miami Government Cut late evening and getting to Bimini...

There is, " Regatta Time in the Abacos"( has a web site ) at the end of June. Also look at the web site for, " Florida Sailors and Boaters" a great club in Ft.Lauderdale.
