Thanks Pavel. I did not know about the version problem and downloaded the latest. Do you know up till which version GE works with OpenCPN?

I cannot get the Google Earth plugin to work. I already had the problem under 4.0 but also after installing 4.2 and the 1.2 GE plugin I have the same result.

OK, thanks all. I think I need to go the Seatalk/NMEA route. That will solve most things except the radar overlay...I guess.
As with most things: If it seems to easy to be true, it probably is...

Thanks...that frankly does not sound too hopeful.
I'm a newbee to this and more or less assumed that a mainstream ethernet protocol like SeatalkHS would be supported in OpenCPN.

Thanks for the replies, very useful. I actually had not realized that OpenCPN has the option "network" when creating a new connection. Have not tried this yet. Anybody knows if this is usable to get...

I'm new to this forum and am looking hard for a way to make use of the SeatalkHS/Ethernet connection between my E120 and PC with OpenCPN. I think most data including Radar etc. is available...

When I upload a route from OpenCPN 3.2.2 to my Furuno GP32 the GPS does not react and/or receive anything (OpenCPN gives its normal Send OK message).
When I do the same thing in the latest beta...
