I've crossed with winds out of the north VERY ROUGH won't do it again PERIOD. NE winds better but I wouldn't do it - wait for favorable conditions you'll be happy you did.

Have made countless trips to the Exuma Cays. Never locked the dink or the boat for that matter while ashore and never had any issues. I do pull the kill switch though.

The AC sucks up and discharges seawater continuously while it is running - if you saw my boat with all ACs running you'd see continuous water coming out of three holes on the port and stb sides.
