Re: Perkins HT 6.354M, Perkins 6.354M
I purchased both sizes of magnetic heaters to test, but with the aluminum sump and no flat space anywhere near #6, I returned them unused. I winterized the boat that same weekend, so testing... |

Re: Perkins HT 6.354M, Perkins 6.354M

Re: Corroded top of exhaust manifold - repair or replace?

Re: We are about to buy a live aboard and navigate the icw. YIKES!
ACTIVE CAPTAIN IS GREAT, BUT MUCH LESS NOW THAT THEY SOLD OUT TO GARMIN. ALL YOU NEED IS A TABLET WITH INTERNAL GPS AND A DOWNLOADED NAV PROGRAM, PREFERABLY WITH ACTIVE CAPTAIN OVERLAYS OF... |

Re: can you identify this steering cylinder?
I rebuilt my Wagner (45 years old). Found a 70 buck rebuild kit on line, and sourced the parts locally for 30. Take it apart and take the seals and o rings, star retainers to a hydraulic shop. ... |

Re: Cleaning out anti freeze from the lines in the spring
You don't need much pressure or vacuum to pull the water out of your lines. A shop vac will do it. You can suck or pressurize air and water EZ. Never pour AF into your tank. If you choose to go... |

Re: Bilge Pump Continiouslly switches On & Off.
Use a seperate switch for the pump. Mount it to a 1/2 " thick piece of starboard to get it higher than the pipes drain volume. |

Re: Cruising - 1 engine or 2
80pct on one vs two, at the same speed for my trawler. Likely due to friction and rotating mass losses. Fixed props, 'off' engine prop rotates due to water pressure. Hull speed 7 knts. Less... |

FINALLY! Someone that just answers the OP's question. Well done. I half expected someone would post about about batteries made from potatoes before the answer might finally show up. |

Re: Would "Great Stuff" Foam work for this....?
For the record of future searchees:. The Great Stuff is open cell foam, so it will allow moisture to penetrate, and on thinner decks may cause a bulge in the deck as it expands. I know. ... |

Re: Should Large Power Boats be Banned?
ALL FIBERGLASS BOATS SHOULD BE BANNED. Yachting should be the preserve only of folks that can afford to keep up wooden boats. |

Re: Modern ground tackle on older 25' boat
