Our v berth has a Mylar wrapped closed cell foam that is covered in a micro suede type material. Can't give specifics as it was a previous owner project.

I have a number of Ryobi items aboard, and have never noticed any rust. These, along with the Dremel, have been aboard for about two years.

Re: Cal 2-27 speed

I own the exact same year and model of boat, and what you are claiming simply isn't in the cards. In San Francisco Bay, in the slot, those speeds wouldn't happen. I say that as the owner of a 1976...

Growley! Sounds like you are really coming along. We are getting ready to change out our prop as well. It's always something, right?

Re: Needed, Cal 29 prop and strut

Having done the search for a strut bit, you are going to end up having one custom fabricated.

Re: Breaker advice

Breakers arrived at the house today. In the end we went with the Midnite Solar option, that is rated at 150VDC. Will update after I install this weekend.

Re: Breaker advice

Thanks for the reply! Just got off the phone with Northern Arizona Wind & Sun. They set us up with two Midnite Solar breakers for each side of the run, from and to the MPPT. Problem solved!

Re: Topping up 48v system using solar panels?

If looking for a 48v MPPT option, you might see if Rogue has any 3048's remaining in stock. It was discontinued, but is a quality built unit.

If your need isn't immediate, you might consider waiting until Strictly Sail. Sal might have better numbers then, but that is far from guaranteed.
