Re: V-Berth total refit plan.

Did you ever do the 3d model? I'd love to see this. I'm thinking about redoing a v-berth myself. I need a computer desk with a custom seat that articulates a chair 90 degrees so that I'm...

Re: Sailboats With An Open Forward Berth?

Curious about if you figured out what you would do and the results? I'm about to enter a gutting out phase and was trying to figure out the v-berth situation. I originally thought about the...

Re: current cost estimate for replacing teak deck with nonskid?

What sort of time? I know it's a lot but I'm looking at a boat where i will probably need to do the whole deck. It's only a 28 ft sailboat but I will be all on my own. I actually can spend the...

Re: Running aground

I'm pretty sure I'm about to be grounded. I had to pull into a shallow marina to escape an I'll timed trip. Now I'm told that the storm filled in the entrance to the marina. They have a tug that...

Re: What form of energy?

It does. Which is fine when motoring but I think the gas usage is better on the generator than it is running the engine. It's an atomic gas engine. Not as good usage compared to diesel I hear?

Re: What form of energy?

I think 750 might be a bit much too. Even 500 seems like more than I would need. Not sure I need to get a really good idea of power usage and what I expect the future needs to be. Maybe AC a bit...

Re: What form of energy?

Knew I was forgetting things.

No Bimini. I assume that the battery bank is small. I will be in a marina this year but who knows next. I really want to be more self sufficient in terms of power...

What form of energy?

I'm sure there are a lot of these but I can't really seem to get a grasp of the right answer.

I need to get one of the major forms of energy. 1. solar 2. wind 3 portable generator. Maybe 4....

Re: Welland Canal: Any tips?

Depends on whether you're heading to lake erie or lake ontario. More are needed heading for erie. I think due to turbulence from the currents from rushing water. As water is escaping on the way to...

Re: Hughes 38 - Would You Trust it Offshore ?

Re: Morgan Nelson Marek 36

Hi,

After my questions it will be obvious, I'm a newbie. Anyway, here goes.

How difficult is it to move this boat to the east? Is it easier to sail it to the east? That's a vague question but...
