We use a March Pump and it has worked with no problem for 10+ years. We do carry a spare one just in case. Easily accessed in engine room to R&R.

We love our drip less but they too occasionally spit water as the graphite seal wears so we put down a paper towel to catch the drips.

A dry bilge is what I prefer...solves a lot of issues.

That's an idea! I thought about using a small soldering iron to melt the slot in one part of the thread (say at 12 o'clock) in hopes the slot would release the tension on the threads that preventing...

I see how moving the front of the engine in the direction of the largest reading would bring the motor into alignment if it is out at the top or bottom but whats the move if it is out on the side?
