I certainly feel for you, I think scaling back like others have suggested is a good advice. Maybe just do a Bahama trip and slip in a T&C, June to August.

Like any inlet follow the navigational buoys rather then just chart plotter, but as far as inlets goes this is a very good one.

I certainly believe you are hearing it, it just might be the combination of the lightweight hull/design and the outboards natural vibration causing a harmonic of sorts. I have mine on a fiberglass...

I'd choose May and run mostly outside until NC, the go up the Chess and back out out Cape May NJ. At that speed you can skip all of NJ right to LI
