Re: 2 Stroke Dingy Outboard
We have a used Yamaha 8hp we are not using, but you were looking for another brand. I really wanted a 15hp 2 stroke Yamaha and was doing the same thing as you (there has to be a place I can get a... |

Re: AB Dinghy with Aluminum Bottom
Many of these companies changed hands and/or production changed locations, what was once great could be an issue, most companies go through this. We had an AVON for 18 years and it was great,... |

Re: Caribbean Bound In June, But Wife With Cold Feet
I certainly feel for you, I think scaling back like others have suggested is a good advice. Maybe just do a Bahama trip and slip in a T&C, June to August. |

Re: St Augustine Inlet local knowledge
Like any inlet follow the navigational buoys rather then just chart plotter, but as far as inlets goes this is a very good one. |

Re: Maintenance costs/issues with a 90’s yacht
I will say, I've never seen a survey report that really captures whats going to go wrong a short while after ownership. May I suggest buying something much smaller to "get your feet wet" and once... |

Re: Suzuki DF15 / 20A owners HELP PLEASE!
I certainly believe you are hearing it, it just might be the combination of the lightweight hull/design and the outboards natural vibration causing a harmonic of sorts. I have mine on a fiberglass... |

Re: Balance 451 - Yanmar vs Volvo

Re: Suzuki DF15 / 20A owners HELP PLEASE!
I will say going from a 8hp 2 stroke to the 20hp Suz 4 stroke it took a bit getting use to, in the beginning I found the vibration terrible, now after a full year doesn't bother me. Has a slight... |

Re: SOUTHSHORE LONG ISLAND RIGGERS
Coecles Harbor Marina in Shelter Island would be the place I would want to go. Also Brewers in Greenport. Shinnecock area could do it, but most sportfishing boats there. |

Re: NYC to Montauk outside next week
This time of year the wind direction is predominately out of the southwest (picks up in afternoon), would recommend staying in 60+ feet of water as the waves are more swell in type, they seem to... |
