Any suggestions on aftermarket boxes for that purpose? Most I have found seem to convert the EVC data...

You are correct, my mistake...

it’s coolant temperature only.... on the physical sensors fitted and pre and post EVC loom too.

Either way, hoping to get it into an actual instrument rather...

Hi!

I am upgrading my D2-55C to EVC...

Can anyone with a D2 and EVC help me the cabling you have from the engine control box to a tachometer? I beleive there is usually
an extension cable...

I’m in the process of upgrading my D2-55C to EVC and hope to get oil temperature onto my MFD.... should know in a couple of weeks.

If you have space to mount an old fashioned huge it should be...

I will add that the Lofrans service kit for mine was fantastic - i spent another £100 in bearings. So £200 and many hours getting it apart,
cleaned, and back together. I ordered one addition part...

I just fully serviced my 10 year old vertical Lofrans x2. Thread with photos can be found on this forum. Getting it off/apart is the first part of your journey. Was a moderately serious workshop job....

All done. Last job was extraction of the old bearing outside race from the deck plate. For me that needed removal from the boat to the workshop, which also allowed a thorough clean....but all easy...

Reassembly is progressing. Compressing the spring and getting the top circlip was a challenge; solved with 2 g-clamps: 165462.

This disassembly/service/reassembly is not for the faint-hearted -...

Got the blind bearing out (part 309)! Used this trick... https://youtu.be/w62c4NQDwP0 had to use brown packing paper with grease, and used a rubber hammer on the actual motor shaft, but out she...

Got the gearbox apart! I suspect removal of the small motor shaft (part 1308) wasn’t critical, but gave me much more comfort to start knocking the casing (part 920) gently with a piece of wood until...

Good job, as during extraction of the shaft/motor/gearbox from below the top bearing...

Looks like those numbers might be inside diameter, outside diameter and thickness. Found a website selling similar parts will give a try. https://budgetbearings.co.uk/shop/Seals/c19/index.html
