I agree with a64pilot. Trouble shooting an issue on my 85 Corvette it reads the same, sense oil pressure first then enable fuel. A few months back I read a post where someone bought a used FP cat...

I haven't heard of any 47's that had capsized, there was an early issue with the masts that has been taken taken care of as far as I know.

Another vote for Marvel however if you get it to turn over then crank it for a while DO NOT start it. Drain the oil and check it for metal bits, if found do the heads thing and check the cylinders,...

Do a compression test cold and then after it's warmed up. It's possible the previous owner ran it without 2-stroke oil and you have a scored cylinder which affects vacuum and compression.

Looking at the 45, and please excuse me if this has been answered before but, what kind of drain is there for the forward lounge area? The 48 has a good size drain but I can't see any on the 45.
