Aluminum will melt before stainless takes, ruining mast, stainless rivets with stainless sleeves would be best replacement method, new tang would be best also, in the overall scheme of things, too...

Great piece of mind! After a $500 tow bill and having to leave the boat at a marina for a week ($1200). On the jersey shore, and no not for repairs!

I do not leave the dock without it.

My life, day late dollar short. I did read most of the replies, I understood that you want a new rig. If you are going to make the crossing to get it wouldn’t it be better to have a repaired mast...

How bad is the existing mast? Cut the break and fit the inside of the mast with a sleeve. If you can find someone to weld aluminum then have that done also.

Solar ON/OFF switch for 60volt system?

Go by total wattage or just use a plug as a means of disconnect.

Solder splice is very good option, braiding shield and heat shrink. I have done this with success. Other option is buy a pair of coax connectors male and female and install them.

put some sea foam in the tank, run it for a while and see if it clears up, also pull off and check all hoses and connectors for clogs. sea foam available at wal-mart. the biggest issue is with the...

I had an issue with my jet boat, an elbow on a line was clogged causing pressure back up to the carb. just a thought?

my boss swears by sea foam, haven't tried it myself yet, did have an issue with our jet boat, seemed it was allergic to water, ran great on shore but would not run in the water, took the carbs apart...

I was on vacation and took a trip to charleston, free mooring right in town, there was a steel ketch there for sale and at the time they were living aboard but were only asking five grand for it....
