we lived on a boat ( 55ft sportfish)here in norfolk for 5 years showered ate slept in the winter here the heat pumps on the boat do not do well because the water is cold we used sealed oil space...

I did not c if anyone mentioned an asymmetrical spinnaker which are easy to manage single handed and have lots of sail area and can b set in a wide number of degree angles:thumb:

littlecreek is a great hurricane hole very little fetch floating docks buildings almost all around had more serge with a noreaster that lasted for days than a hurricane that lasts for only hours...

use a solution of 50/50 white vinegar and water fill tank and leave for a day then rinse. repeat if necessary then as often as needed or replace the tank :banghead:

had nav light problem on my bene 44 some years back . traced the wire back to the water proof box in the forepeak i know it was waterproof because when i opened it all the water in it drained out....

the wind is your friend as you back out of the slip the stern will pivot to port being pushed by the wind when you are clear shift into forward and go.:thumb:

certainly get the biggest tank that will fit a happy wife makes a happy life and it should b duel heated ( electric, engine) so u do not have to run the engine when u have shore power.:biggrin:

look at kiwi prop they have a composite blade feathering prop for half the price of max prop. have had one on my bene 44 for five yrs now no problem and a spare blade is only around 100 dollars:thumb:
