Re: Cruising by Mailboat in the Bahamas
You sure missed the boat on this one dougweibel (no pun intended). It's about the experience not the ability to meet locals on different islands. Mailboats are not just boats that go island to island... |

Re: Who is best to make a cockpit enclosure in south Florida?
Had a lot of work done at Thunderbolt - there was way too much nickel and dime-ing while in the boat yard. Huge turnoff considering what you end up paying. When all is said and done expect to pay a... |

Re: Capt Seeking 1st Mate/Cook for Charter out of George Town, Bahamas

Re: Capt Seeking 1st Mate/Cook for Charter out of George Town, Bahamas

Re: List of Restaurant Names and Locations - Exumas
Go to the Exumas for the beautiful waters and islands - not for the restaurants. You will find a few that are good and fun but don’t go for that reason. Taxis don’t exist - no need to anyway. And you... |

Re: Slogging up the US wet coast
Just as a suggestion for cooking, we have a spare portable burner that runs on butane. Lightweight easy and we can get through a couple meals on one can of butane. Beats running the generator. I see... |

Re: Grenada St Vincent & Grenadines itinerary advice
We spent 3 months in the Grenadines so from our experiences here is my 2 cents. Carriccou to Bequia unfortunately is probably not a good idea for the 2nd day of sailing with a couple of virgin... |
