They are both the same distance. I have looked underwater while under way and there doesn't appear any cavitation.

Thanks, I had considered this and the next time out of the water I plan to try the swap. Just wasn't sure if there was a procedure to balance the props (both look perfect with no visible damage)...

For my boat it is accurate, since my 1160 has three foot extensions on the hulls. Photos are on my blog.

Thanks! I'm not sure I would have coughed up the money to add them but they were a very nice addition to inherit. I'll definitely let you know as questions come up.

It is an 1160 that had 3 foot extensions added, so it is 41 feet. Supposedly the extensions add 0.5 knot. Pretty standard equipment, so...
