I saved a bunch of money by taking off all the standing rigging myself and taking it to the rigger. Then reversing the process. The Hayn fittings are reusable. Best wishes on your search!

Fuel feed to outboard is wonky

Good morning folks,

This one is a real head scratcher.

Every time at start up (Honda 20 hp) I have to pump the fuel bulb multiple times to get it firm. Engine starts first time every time....

Thanks all for the suggestions. I tried soaking it for a couple hours in a light bleach solution. Not like new, but much better. I'll definitely do the 303 if I ever get a new cord.

Hi thanks for the suggestion. I tried a DRY Magic Eraser. Nothing. Was I supposed to use some type of detergent or liquid with it?

One more question if I may. Will ANY of the "Universal" analog thermostats on Ebay work or does it have to be the $90 Gruenert thermostat?

Power cord - how to clean

My white 30 amp power cord is quite grungy. Any tips on a simple cleaning process that will not make the rubber sticky? I was told toluene by a boat detailer but I have not been able to find it yet....
