Transport vs sailing around FL

I've been looking at monohulls (30-38ft range) in the GOM and East coast of FL, but am considering adding GA and maybe SC. I've got quite a bit of experience in Eastern GOM to the Keys and a bit of...

Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds

1984 Cape Dory 30 Plan B layout in Mobile AL

Looks like a great "small" cruiser if you don't mind doing without a V-berth as the Plan B has a larger (for a 30ft) head in the bow.

Re: FLL to STT on Bali 45 leaving next window

Maybe three decades in the Army has numbed me to the "direct approach" more than most, but I really don't see any issue with the post.

Re: Share a Moorings rental?

Yup, talked with BVI Charters as well; nothing happening until the travel ban is lifted (supposedly 1 Dec), so this is probably going to get pushed to next fall (maybe spring).

Share a Moorings rental?

Ok, so first question... Is Moorings worth it? It seems reasonable but with no experience renting sailboats, hard for me to know. I've gone through the experience "verification" and am qualified to...
