The furler is not a good design for few reasons.
The drum diameter is too small...

House battery state of charge was around 80% (thats according to the phone app which is connected via bluetooth to the BMS of the battery.)

Ok so I just got back from the 2 week cruise. Before the trip I bought an old 55amp Hitachi to have as back up. I did not need to use it but i do believe my original alternator is on its last leg....

House battery was at 80% at the time. Alternator doesn't know anything about house battery. There's victron dc-dc charger between started and the house.

I will check the victron settings though!

I single hand my 32 foot Hanse. One thing that remains a challenge is bringing down spinnaker. Halyard winch and rope clutch are in the cockpit. Spinnaker goes in the forward hatch.

The multiplexer is a ShipModul little unit. My version has USB/NMEA2000/NMEA183. It does conversions all 3 ways. Im using USB because OCPN is on Windows 10 laptop.

Great suggestion, thanks! I downloaded GPSBabel and it looks like it supports quite a few formats for output. Do you think I should select basic NMEA 0183 or something different?
