I have a sgc230 looks like it is 24v version. However, it is labeled 12-24v by the terminals. I tried 12v but it does not operate…. Just wondering if anyone has experience with this version operating... |

if the swr is approx 1.7:1 or better …< 1.5:1 is best then the issue is propagation … hf freqs during the day these days are not real good. 20 meter ham band not to bad …. unless you have yaggi... |

My experience has been in a marina with lots of surrounding vessels I can hear fine but transmit is severely degraded. Also, make sure your swr is acceptable...suggest you try in open water for... |
