Look in your coolant header tank while its running you should see bubbles if your head gasket has blown. If the tank is full it will blow coolant out

Try running it then disconnect the fuel line a run it dry. The leave for the period that normally gives a problem the reconnect prime and start if starts you know the tank is a problem.

Windlass problem

Hi our Maxwell 3500 windless is giving us grief.
What happens is if we haul 40 meters of chain continusly it will stop, not throw the circuit breaker just stops, after a few minutes it operates...

A lazer pointer Centred in the cuttlass bearing is a good check on alignment.just get the dot dead center of the coupling.

I have a friend who strightened his ,he said it was not as difficult as he first thought, apparently he tapped it over and the used a bar to a just alignment. I've not looked but utube is a gold...

I suspect most insurance companies would include any conditions that would negate a claim, there responsibility is to ensure profit and growth. I think a skilled rigger is a better judge.

Sounds like an injector sticking, but that's A guess from a video. You could try loosening and retightning the fuel lines at each injector while it's running, when you find one that doesn't affect...

We bought an engles conversion kit for our ice box on a previous boat, it was excellent, but it was a little noisy however that may have been due to the compressor mounting, it was keyhole surgery....

I went straight to the pipe wrench and did no damage, opened it and cleaned it completely. Just put some towels or something in the jaws. you will know if you're going to do damage.

The white wire is the temp sensor on mine, not sure if it can be disconnected or spaced to to give a lower temp reading
