Moving Tracks from Nobeltec to OpenCPN

Hello,

I am trying to help a fisherman friend move his old tracks from Nobeltec to OpenCPN. I tried adding the nobeltec track files to the openCPN chart folder with no success. Is this even possible? Any advice would be great.

Thanks,

Daybreak

I can barely remember howI didthis with an OLD nobletec... and these are just breadcrumbs.
VisNav had all the data ina filenamed "navobjects" It also would export stuff....

lookfor Ozi navigators app called
"oziConvertData.exe"It willconvert Nobletec stuff to an Ozi plt file o other fomats....notgpx though,at leastnot the version I have!!

Then,GPSbabel can turn that to a gpx that OpenCPN can read.

Thislaptop has adead keyboard so,Ican't helpmuch more, butyou have my sympathy,at least.
Some stuff gets lost in tansition as well...but the positions come through ok.
