SSB wire location

Merry Christmas everyone.

Mounting my Icom M710. For tidiness sake how close can I route the wires?

Power
Control to the tuner.
Coaxial to the tuner.

cheers

Might be best to keep the coax a bit separate from the other two cables.

Even better to keep the power cable away from the others. Try to run it separately from other looming but if not, then space it away from the others as much as possible (a few inches if possible).

The power cable generates an EM field at audio frequencies when transmitting on SSB.

I had an idea that neat would not be the best option hear, so I should keep them separate. Cheers and merry Christmas

...and go easy on the zip-ties. Don't crush the coaxial cable.

I don't think the EMI from the power cable at audio frequencies is going to have much effect on the ATU control cable, which operates at very low impedances, but it sure doesn't hurt to keep them all separated.
