Oswego NY - Mast Trucking to Hudson

I will be unstepping my Nonsuch mast and wishbone boom in Oswego NY in order to travel down the Oswego and Erie canals to the Hudson.

I know that many cruisers build a scaffold on deck to take their mast and boom with them. I have heard that there may be an economical trucking service that takes the masts from several boats at once and delivers them to the Hudson.

Does anyone have information on this service?

Did you use a trucking service from Oswego to the Hudson for your mast?

Cheers.

I assume you've already gone -given the date. But I think most of the folks that used to offer shipping of masts from Oswego or Collins Bay have given it up due to lack of volume.

For your boat, with no spreaders or stays, putting it on horses on deck would seem pretty simple and easy.

I've done it several times in my boat which has two masts. Not a big deal.

Safe travels.
