I'm a sailboat guy.....but I went and looked at all your pictures...man, that is one bad ass tough boat! She looks like she can handle some serious weather. You said she was a blue water cruiser and I believe it. Out of my price range, but she's seriously nice.

Thank you, and I had it built for passagemaking in mind.

As you can see it has a sail to keep one amused when puttering along plus the added benefits of a sail rig. This is the only one built to date with such a big rig, and the others are about 1/2 this size. It cost me about 13,000 more for the big rig over the small one, but I think worth it in the big scheme of things

It is reluctantly for sale, and frankly it would not break my heart if I kept it.

I can see why you would keep it.
What a fine looking vessel.

Cool boat, looks like fun. Could a boat like this generate revenue doing charters in high latitude places? S Georgia, southern S America, and other places come to mind. Just thinking out loud.

Chase

I love this boat. It's a masterpiece. I just need to win the lotto or find a rich monkeys uncle.

I imagine that one could generate revenue with her, but not something that I have the time nor inclination to do.

I think that I will take her down to Palawan once the rains end for one last outing

Hoghead...If you tell us why you're selling her...it will give us ammunition to convince you to keep her!

My wife is afraid to go out on it alone and constant buddy boating with another couple is not what I had in mind. Good wives are much more difficult to find that good boats, and I am keeping the wife.

Bite your tongue,,,, I will take a good boat over a wife any-day. Any good wife would follow her husband to the ends of the earth in that boat.

I admire your dedication to your wife. Out of the two I had, I'd have to say neither one of them is what I would have called..."good". I know you face a tough choice. But maybe there is another option other than sell or not go sailing. Time, experience, patience and involvement are great healers of fear. At least most of the time. Maybe gradually your wife could enjoy it if she felt more self-sufficient. Also I met a gentleman one tome who cruised for 3-6 months at a time, flying home for some time in between. Just a thought...
