AC DC power to cabin fridge
New to me Chris Craft 328. Cabin refrigerator AC/DC system.
AC panel has dedicated outlet for fridge but when I switch to DC panel no power at outlet?
I tried all panel sequence/configurations… with that said, pulled the fridge out, It appears the cabin fridge isn’t set up for DC? This surprised me to the point I must be missing something! Only visible is a 120 outlet? No DC connection so I presumed there must be an inverter somewhere for DC on that outlet?

Any guidance is appreciated.

Re: AC DC power to cabin fridge
If it's a marine fridge it will have DC with an AC option. Of course, if it's a household fridge it won't have any DC.
The fridge will have a box at the back containing the wiring for DC. You just have to wire it up; red to your DC panel and black to your ground. Maybe the previous owner just didn't bother with the DC option. Many fridges can be plugged into both at the same time and will just default to using the available AC.

Re: AC DC power to cabin fridge
My fridge stays on all the time. It is, I believe, always on 12v. Join me at Chris-Craft 328 Express owners group in FB. We can see if we can figure this out. I have the original owners manual and know the guy who wired our boats.
