380 S2: "Auxilary" Switch on Electrical Panel
We've just tapped into this switch to install small dometic freezer in the cockpit under the seat. I thought it was a great installation as it enables the freezer to be turned on and off at the nav station, but the strange thing is it appears to be drawing current from the starter batteries. The 'domestic' (house) batteries shows amp draw when freezer compressor kicks in, but after the starter battery low voltage alarm sounded a few times, we've notice that the freezer is also pulling power from the starter batteries as well.

I note from the manual that this switch is for comfort (waste water pump), but surprised this switch is not isolated from the starter batteries.

We would like to wire this to the house batteries only, but also use this existing Auxiliary switch on the control panel.

Any and all suggestions/guidance most welcomed.

Do you have an electrical schematic drawing or some pictures you can post? They would be helpful to providing suggestions.

Do you have a cross over switch that combines the starter battery with the house battery, if so turn it off so start batteries remain disconnected from house bank.
