Sounds like the L39 is being discontinued.

Not sure what the production run is up to, but the L39 must make history as Lagoon's least popular model.

With a choice of models slightly smaller (L380) or slightly larger (L400), both with proportionally larger rigs offering superior performance, buyers seem to avoid the L39. This is dispite the L39 being a newer model with more contemporary styling.

Given the success of the new L42, I'd speculate the proposed L40 will also sell well. I really hope that the L380 is retained, as the cruising world needs more smaller, cheaper cats with real seakindly performance, living room volume and load carrying ability.

Re the 50, the galley does look small and is split either side of of the saloon door. Sofa looks awesome and the cabinets in the centre with what I guess is a fold out coffee table looks interesting. Not sure where the inside nav station is meant to be.

Great news, can anybody recommend any dealer? I have heard about a good one in Germany?

From the 3D renderings, the nav station seems to be at one end of the wraparound sofa, like FP do but facing backward on the starboard side. Interesting new design indeed, the galley seems acceptable if not big when the two parts (port and starboard) are taken in consideration.
Many question still to answer, thankfully not too long of a wait until revealing
A bit strange though that they made a 50 and not a 48, like filling a canyon with a balcony on one side of it

Yes, I also heard the 48 was confirmed, hope this 50 comes as a sport-top aswell!

I don't think there will be a 48. The 40 & 50 now appear on the Lagoon website but no mention of a 48.

Re the New Lagoon 40, I do wonder though since the saloon will undoubtedly be smaller than the 42 whether the mast support will dominate it.

The gossip I heard at the factory last week was that the 50 will actually be 48' in length. They are doing this to compete with FP who over quote their boat lengths in the name.

Probably, even though it makes up an awkward distribution in the range.

Funny that they mention a "whole new line" as the 40 and 50 look very much like the continuation of the 42 and to some extent the 39 and 52. Even though the 39 is already being replaced when the 380 is staying. This seems like such a mess like if they made new plans every year
