Garmin GPS

I have older black and white Garmin GPS(forget #, it' s something 110).
Looks like the power switch went bad. I had to push all the time, did not stay on.
Maybe this is damn question but should I just go ahead replacing to new model?
And this kind of problem, is usually switch issue?
