Day sailing Gibraltar
After sailing down the coast of Spain and Portugal we have had to go home to work and we are now getting out to the boat for 1 week at a time! We are now based in Alcadeisa marina (Gibraltar) which seems ok and offers us good value berthing in a safe pontoon set up!
We have done the usual sailing to SMIR and Ceuta but wondered if anyone could advise on any anchorages they could recommend for lunches or even overnight in the right weather. We are planning on sailing towards Barcelona at the end of the year so current set up is whilst we are working back in the UK and have limited holiday time!

Any help would be great

Re: Day sailing Gibraltar
It has been close to 15 years since I was last in that area and nude sun bathing might not be your cup of tea, but if it is, after the 3 nm jaunt from the marina south to the the point, head north up the coast about 19 nm to the beaches of the Costa Natura Naturists resort. I've stayed in one of the apartments there and enjoyed my visit. 44 nm round trip would make a nice 3 day holiday.
