Proposal to Dredge Waukegan Harbor
The Illinois Department of Conservation is requesting permission from the Federal government to resume dredging of the notoriously polluted Waukegan Harbor. The area is one of the few harbors in the Great Lakes that still remains heavily polluted and their belief is that it will help the overall economy of the area--particularly, the blighted city of Waukegan, Illinois. Apparently, the harbor has rebounded enough to continue the dredging of toxic waste left by the OMC corporation.

Re: Proposal to Dredge Waukegan Harbor
Good news to all! Hurrah, Hurrah! Waukegan harbor is finally safe and clean according to our political luminaries in Illinois and the EPA. So, jump right in for a swim, catch a few fish for dinner and impress your neighbors every evening with your newly acquired bioluminescence. Good luck, good sailing and . . . don't worry about that spot on the fish, son . . . the harbor's clean!
