PAR bilge pump throwing belt

I have a PAR 36600 series bilge that is throwing its belt repeatedly. It started to do it occasionally. Now it cannot even keep the belt on for more than a few seconds.

There seems like there should be a way of adjusting the distance between the gears, but I cannot find anything either on the pump or in the document that came with the pump.

Anyone ever have this issue? Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Re: PAR bilge pump throwing belt

There are two screws that mount the motor, one is slotted and you can tension the belt with that.

Excellent. I now see it on the nearly inaccessible backside. Now if I can only get to it. Thanks!
