    Hello!

I'm helping my friend decide on a marina in Bocas del Toro for several months stopover prior to Panama Canal crossing. The boat is an old 60ft racing trimaran currently in Grenada. I noticed you've stayed at Red Frog and mentioned Bocas Marina, the two marinas I'm focusing on. Could you share some advice on which marina you think may be most suited? (I've seen the marina pics/websites and both have indicated they have space).

    Key decision criteria:
    - Easy marina entry/exit for a very wide, high-windage boat (ideally: depth >3.5m, wide channel >20m wide with space for turnaround, low wind exposure in marina)

    - Competent/reliable management

    - Safe/developed surroundings: access to supplies, nearby hotel, etc

    - Repair facilities (less critical): competent handymen/shipyard for minor repairs / boat work (I understand Bocas Marina has a full yard)

    Best regards,
    Stephane Lesaffre
