Greetings Wotname, I joined the community this past wed, and posted my first post in the lithium power forum. It was a question about top balancing lifepo4 cells and 4 or 5 others were helping me out. But when I came back to rejoin the discussion yesterday my post was gone. In fact the site says I've never posted anything. Pkease help if you can. Thanks, Skiffmaster

    Dear Wotname,
I have seen your helpful comments in an older post regarding factory reset of a Sailor VHF6222.
The shipyard had installed a brand new unit… but before I was able to enter the assigned MMSI a ‘helping hand’ entered a “8” as first digit. Now the radio shows 800000000 as MMSI.
I’m pretty frustrated as the boat has a number of factory issues, this only adds to my to do list.
Tried to log in with the “admin” as user and “sailorsailor” for PW as stated in the service manual.
Administration page shows “user how logged in as administrator”, as expected. But: when I want to check device status, a red line appears that I’ll have to log in first.
Do you have any idea how I manage to log into the 6222 system settings to change to the correct MMSI?
    Your help is highly appreciated.

Alway a pleasure to hear from you, mate. It's a shame we have to have boat problems in order to have a conversation. If you weren't halfway around the world, we could get together for a beer. Thanks for all your help.

    Hi Wotname,
In a few older posts, you mentioned that you were able to source parts for a KWB-10 transmission in Oz. I was hoping you could help me also.
I have a KWB-10E with a 2.8 gear reduction on a Yanmar 3JH2-E engine. The forward gear is slipping and I have exhausted Yanmar USA dealerships to find it. Would you have any contact information for someone else?
    Thank you very much

I have those two books David Lewis wrote about the Voyage. Remember the wife got of the cat in Darwin because of illness? Then David, the nanny and kids sailed to South Africa to meet her. I showed my wife a picture of the nanny and she reckons she would had to have been dead to let me go sailing offshore with the nanny!
