On the string & release, there is a special head on the top of my bottle with a pin showing. That pin lances a membrane in the manifold screwed onto the bottle. The release device with lanyard pulls a lever that advances the pin into the membrane. I doubt that all of the bottles and release devices are the same. I understand my is obsolete. I have photos but this utility won't permit attachments. If you want the pictures, send me an address. Are you able to receive large files or attachments? Do you have a file limit?

If you serviced your cylinder, you should have noticed the release device. Perhaps you may need the filling service to help you re-install.

Where did you get the bottle filled?
