Les Sables D'olonne commissions about 150 boats per year, every year and with the 42 flying off the shelf I think even more now. We are hull #60 and had 42 hull #128 next to us! Most of the cats in les sables were 42's. It's a VERY nice boat.

    Best of luck to you.

No problem, my broker arranged YCS and as they would allow Robin Marine work on the boat while it was in YCS yard I agreed.

The commissioning cost was 10,000 and that includes fenders, a load of rope but not the grey lagoon mooring ropes (I didn't like them anyway), the Delta anchor supplied by Lagoon (is now my spare). These are too small on both 42 and 450.

I nearly bought thru Ancaster myself but they couldn't get me a boat as fast and were a bit more expensive so I bought thru the Dubai broker.

I'm happy with all the decisions I've made apart from Robin Marine. Do NOT use them. They are an absolute rip off and only communicate when I told them I wouldn't use them at all.

SAS looked a professional outfit and I'm sure do a good job. They are a much bigger operation than YCS tho which can be both good and bad.
