Well if you get out this a way, give a yell. Was out all last weekend on buddy's boat, weather is good for 4-5 day jaunts, but weather is the nature of the beast!

They say if you don't like the weather here, wait 10 minutes, it will change!

U mentioned in other thread about seeing something on FB, no, it was reading threads here, and your blog I think.

I have a hard time, keeping track of pm's, profile messages and blah, blah blah.....give an update when you can.

    as always...keep smiling

Thanks for befriending me. I didn't know that we could do that here. Anyway, I wont be much help since I'm in Alaska and when I finally get a slip for my boat at the marina it will be too cold to sail anyway. Unless you really, really like cold I would suggest someplace warm and comfortable. Besides, other than racing dinghys, I have no experience on my bigger boat. I'm ready, the boat is ready, the marina -NO. Not till October 1st.

    Hi Thomea,
I've been following your thread....you seem driven. I'm looking for some help on my boat. Lets talk if interested. Btw, I'm not the social media type, been off the grid for awhile. I'm in Port Angeles Marina, been here almost 3 winters now. I'm headed to the San Juans for awhile, month or so. I could use the help.

Let me know. We can talk more. and will, we both need that "warm fuzzy feeling" on a boat

Amy, Hello My situation is this, I am an inexperienced sailor and the owner of a 37" cutter, she is my third boat ( the other two were inexpensive) My dog and I were hit by a truck and with the settlement money I bought this boat in Holland Michigan. The engine seized up coming down the Illinois river, so I trucked her to Jacksonville Fla, where the reality I (and especially my boat)could benifit from having help onboard, I have only sailed solo from day one.My "plan" is to head south to Key largo, where I've a slip, regroup and consider Cuba and the Caribbean.I am looking.flor someone to learn from and or with while having a safe fun adventure. I have two very well.behaved dogs. Lyo is 100 lbs and Stein 20 lbs. I hope we both find the perfect situation. Sincerely Dennis ps I've taught Tai Ch for 20 years (I am 70) and do not do enough yoga.
