Biography

2009 was the year the world changed for me. Drastically. My seven year old son Jonathan finally succumbed to a BiThalamic Astrocytic Glioma that had been identified a year and a half prior and for our family nothing would ever be the same. Fast forward to now, past may trying times, and we are focusing on acquiring a boat with which to sail around the world. We believe strongly in protecting the environment, we believe in supporting local merchants and we prefer to not purchase things made overseas unless there is no other way.... and really.... in traveling the world we have seen that supporting overseas workers and families is a good thing as well..... we just oppose conspicuous consumption of non renewable resources and dislike our throwaway culture.
We hope to learn from everyone here and share what we know ourselves which at the moment is not very much when it comes to world cruising.
