On the non skid i used durabak 18....great stuff...not cheap...it has rubber granulars as opposed to sand etc...in it

It wasnt hard...just messy....the mixture pulls all the crap right out of the teak...you definitely need to have a wet dry vac on hand. My only problem was having enough ventilation in the cabin being it rained the entire time i was doing it. I wanted to get it done because the upholsterer is coming this week. Ive done many things myself....ripped out all the carpeting....did all the sewing projects...the teak....i installed all new led cabin and navigation lights but also had the electrician rewiring everything....hadthe bottom paint and hull done professionally....i did the nonskid...i tried doing the topside paint with the rolling and tipping method and i was just not happy with it....so i talked to Chad....who painted my boat and he said you just cant compare rolling and tipping a one part paint to spraying with a two part like awlgrip....then he told me if i would prep the topside he would do the whole thing for me sprayed with awlgrip for $300 bucks!!!
