Hi- re: the seafarer. it was not known as a high end boat, but i have been happy with it. It likely doesnt point as well to the wind as some others - but i dont have experience on many other saiboats.. i tack at roughly 90 degrees but always have to fall off a bit more to fill the sails. Looks much better maintained than mine when i bought it. I finally rebuilt my yanmar as it is pushing 40 years old.. i think the price may be a bit high, given that there are many sailboats which have been repowered with a new diesel, and the owner still can't sell for much more than the price of the new engine.. engine may work well, but is salt water cooled, so wont go on forever.
I find the boat doesnt like a following sea, make it a bit squirly.. but all in all, still a good boat.
