- Ihave been sailing in Thailand and Greece with a company and about 4 other couples. I went with my sons (24)girlfriend. I have always wanted my own sailboat and am in the process of learning to sail, I will take lessons in the Tampa Bay area and in a few years will start looking for a liveaboard cat. My husband doesn't share my enthusiasm so I will have to find friends who will go with me. Like I say I need to learn to sail and am reading about boats now. I would like to get involved with a sail group in the FL areal. East or West coast I don't care. I just want to sail.
