PS: there is a TOCK currently cruising from Guaymas, in the Sea of Cortez, enroute to Texas, last I heard in Z town, Mexico. The skipper repaired their tank with some material that he said is used by commercial ships, which is painted on, the inside of the tank (I think) and he said it took 30 days to completely dry! Anyway, from all I heard, the repair was a success, so I guess that may be one way to go.

I am Mike Blecher, and I have owned TOCK hull no. 6, for 18 years, currently lying Marina Del Rey, Ca. We still have our original tank, but I know that sooner or later, its going to need a repair. For anyone reading this and interested, its a royal pain, from what I have heard from other TOCK owners. The best solution is two smaller tanks, re-installed in the existing space, connected with a solenoid operated switch.

I met your boat's original owner some years ago. Your boat started out in California, and he singlehanded it to the east coast, US.
He then sold the boat to a young naval officer. If I am not mistaken, your boat suffered some damage while this new owner had it from a hurricane??? Anyway, where are you headed?
