    Nice to join you guys. I would describe myself as an embryonic newbe and think there will be much to learn here. In the 80s and 90s, I mainly sailed a 62' Gaff Ketch in and around The Medway and twice from The Baltic. Occasional West Country and Channel Islands. For the last 19 years I have lived in East Africa as a bush pilot and haven't sailed at all until last year when I bought the Kelt. It is on the hard in The Medway and I am here in East Africa. Planning is important, but as John Lennon said, Life is what happens to you while you're making plans! I am looking for a larger yacht to be a live-aboard and cruiser. I love the Gecco 39'.
