    Biography
    Learned to sail in Malaysia where I owned a 27'sloop with a raked mast. Sailed down the Perak River and across to Pangkor Island in the Malacca Straits, also Lumut where there is now a Malaysian Navy depot. Returned to Tasmania, owned a Waratah, Folkboat and now Peter Robyn, a sister-ship to Restive as featured in Cruising under Sail by Eric Hiscock. Previously living on Bruny Island gave us access to the famous D'Entrecasteaux Channel, Norfolk Bay, the Derwent and Huon Rivers, to say nothing of Port Davey and the East Coast of Tasmania.
