I had to buy new tires, so I am going to have to wait on that one now.

Awesome, we will definitely have to go again. We went out again about 4:30. The wind had finally picked up and it was perfect. What type of AC do you have? I have to look into that.

I have acousin who's an ER nurse at the Mayo clinic & they've got some setup that allows him to run off to volunteer with recovery work. He went down to Baton Rouge after Katrina & out here after the '03 fires. It's a cool setup & such a great way to use the skills you guys have. I admire you & your efforts.

Hey Erika, the link I was going to post wouldn't. In this messaging format pasting link to other sites doesn't work for some reason but the drift of my thought was:
As I've been working towards a seagoing job the MSC is one of the places I've looked and they've got 2 hospital ships (Comfort -East Coast, Mercy - West Coast) that alternate (yearly I believe) deployments of four months to 3rd world countries. The Mercy was in Banda Aceh-sp? after the tsunami.
Anyway the MSC doesn't need ships crew but my guess is they would love to recruit good hospital staff. Not sure how to apply for hospital staff positions if you found it appealing. But I did think you'd find this work being done under USA auspices interesting.
    Cheers

Erika, no rush, I am not ready to post anything yet, just establishing future interest. I still have some issues to resolve in domestic and work areas, but will eventually pull the plug on land living.

Good initiative for the forum, and I hope it works for everyone.
