Hey Mark? Are you still interested in Dana's Suburu? We are in Portland taking care of our last details before leaving for St Lucia and we should arrange sale of the car soon. $600, and we can leave it at my Dad's place which is close to the airport. Give us a ring either way please as we are holding it for you and need to advertise it away if you don't have need of it.

    Newt

I checked on how I could get to Neah Bay from Longview and found it would be an all day affair that combines a morning train to seattle, afternoon bus to portangles and evening bus to Neah Baybut I'm happy to do it I own my own business so I can get away over the weekend and a day or two on either side.

I've sailed for years and owned for sailboats upto 26'. I crewed for two years out of Olympia on a larger J Boat. I've been over the bar numerous time on powerboats fishing and realize timing is everything for a smooth crossing

I don't drink or smoke and will respect you property if you need some help at the end of the month. My name is Larry Wood and my cell is 360 751-5789 if you want to chat. Whether I get to come or not Good Luck and hope you have a good passage

    Newt,
I have not been out on the Ocean yet. When this week?
  5. Lin Pardey
Yes, I think that would work just fine. Interestingly I was thinking of joining in on this thread. Just been too busy. I'll take a look tomorrow.

Hi i was looking at some old posts I have a July, 11, 1960 C.Plath Micrometer - Sextant, brass. Number 41 261, in good condition per certificate, with certificate and it's signed. it says it's "This instrument is free of errors for practical use!" but that was in 1960. It comes in a metal box with all its parts, telescope and brush. Also comes with lube gel. Let me know if you are interested. or someone that may be

You haven't seen my housekeeping at its worst.

Next summer? Sounds like a plan to me and gives me plenty of time to get the boat ship shape Bristol fashion after coming out winter hibernation. Will you be sailing up or using some other more mundane method of transportation.

    Hi Newt,

I have been a bit more busy than usual this month. I only recently got back from a week up country in Fort Nelson. It was good getting back to the comparative warmth of the coast though. I had a six hour wait at the aerodrome for freezing fog to clear so I could take off. I did manage to sail a bit this weekend, but now am looking at preparing for winter. Hopefully it won't be too harsh here. How are things going with you?

Current plans are for a late August splash *if* all the required repairs are completed. However, we won't have a slip. So there is a teeny tiny chance I'll be living aboard for a while (months?) in the backwaters. Either that or the boat may stay dry until next spring.

How 'bout you? that looks like a mighty cute little watch-stander in your pic.
