I'm not affiliated with AC, and am not working on their plugin. In fact, I'm working on a competing product and developing an OpenCPN plugin as we speak. Would you be interested in helping with a code review and testing an alpha version? There are a few issues with how OpenCPN works that I find puzzling, and another pair of eyes would certainly help in debugging.

I realize that everybody's time is limited. If this doesn't appeal to you please feel free to be direct in your response.
