Biography

Entering phase II of my life as a newly single mom of a 7 year old active boy. Finding that I am ready to live my dreams. (As soon as those divorce papers go through…)

Grew up sailing the coast of Maine with my family and sleeping on the boat at every opportunity in our home port of York Harbor. Full blown harbor rat.

I lived in Santa Barbara for 6 years or so and was very active in the yacht club's "wet Wednesday" races racing on a J24 (if memory serves…) Last summer got a taste of Schooner sailing out of Rockland and it relit the dormant dream of living on a boat. Working to make that happen in the next year. Hopefully by Spring of 2014 I'll be the proud owner of a 30 plus footer and living aboard with my son and two cats. Meanwhile…. looking to get on the water as often as I can, and jog the memory to bring back the nautical terms, knots and charting lessons from my youth. Life - Part II - where I make my choices!
