    Good morning,
I came across your questions about Battery Chem this morning and I would just like to set the record straight for you. My name is Walter H. Barrett and I am the inventor of Battery Chem which we have manufactured here in the USA for 27 years and have thousands of satisfied customers all over the world. If people follow our training and test procedures carefully we have a 70% success rate. We get hundreds of repeat orders which in itself is a testimony too our validity. Anyone who has not used and tested our product has no business making unkind remarks and calling our product "Snake Oil" It's a very good way to face a big law suit and a very stupid and cruel thing to do. I am a 79 year old Korean War Veteran who is trying to make an honest living. Personally, I cannot afford to own a yacht and I don't appreciate a bunch of yacht owners trying to destroy my business Those persons who made the mean and reckless comments should be ashamed of themselves.

    Aloha Keao:

I'm over on the Kona side at Honokohau. A little drier over here though don't think the sailing is better. Enjoyed my stay in Radio Bay last summer though the security precautions got old in a hurry. Was going to leave my boat at Suisan as they had a couple of side tie slips. The locals scared me saying there was a lot theft problems with theft there. One of the security at the commercial harbor actually asked if I was crazy thinking of Suisan. I was looking forward to spending more time exploring Hilo. Have lived here 30 years and have spent more time in Honolulu, by far, than in Hilo. Does it rain in Hilo??

It's always a crap shoot sailing in the winter. Weather isn't that big a deal except it's a close reach to a beat going south. Any weather is very unpleasant in those condtions. Have been thinking of hitting the line Islands in the fall after I finish a haul out and getting rid of all the leaks.

    Keao,

Sorry, but I only saw your June 2010 message about the planned purchase of a Hunter Legend 43 just now. I'm assuming you probably don't need my input anymore. However, if you do, please email me directly at <meuzelaar@ftml.net>. Best regards, Henk Meuzelaar
