    Hello & Help! California Boaters, Please I am a lady, dont laugh? I just found out the boat I purchased isnt a $500 fix previous owner claimed. He said he is a boat mechanic. Will fix it himself? I am in his slip. He is gone along with my $12,000. I have a beautiful sound 1984 Carver Cruiser, no trailer. She isnt Sea Worthy until tuned up, Rebuilt Carbs, two batteries. (about $3000) I was wondering if any of you are familiar with CA Boat Slips that might let me dock her while we fix her. No trai loer makes it ecen harder to get help? I need somewhere to put the boat while we fix it. It seems no dry dock found? If any of you know of a provate dock, one lake pond or sea we can pull her to, i would be forever grateful? I may lose her? Hestd they will tow her away and sell at Police Auction. As soon as Harbor I sm at figures out she isnt Sea Worthy, we will be tossed out? I am guilty of not knowing to get a survey? Any ideas of a family who would welcome a nice lady to pay them monthly short term to fix it, ling term if they like the extra $$$ and Security of having us onsite? I am a Dedigner/Assistant/ Nurse Asst and Cook and could also care for an elder or assist a family as well. Please help if you have any ideas so I dont lose my bed n breakfast, my floating oasis? I named her my "Hearts Desire?"
