    Biography
    57 year old husband, father, and grandfather. Teacher and 20-year Air Force veteran and retiree. I really love sailing.

    I have completed ASA 101 and was in a sailing club in Cocoa Beach, Florida with access to a Catalina 25 which I usually sailed single-handedly. Now on the west coast of Florida, I am seeking opportunities to find friends to sail with and gain experience. I am available for day sails and possibly trips a bit longer. I am also considering joining Sailtime and hope to eventually buy a pocket cruiser.

    I have been a bagpiper for five years, and take lessons via Skype with a great instructor in Scotland!

    During the first half of my career in the Air Force, I was an aircraft mechanic and then became a public affairs specialist (journalist).
