Not to be snarky, but do you think the word "digressed" is going to be well understood in this instance? OK, I'll be quiet now.

    Regards.

    Hi Jon

my name is Max. In February of this year my father and I decided to purchase a 1973 Chance 30 and take on the task of restoring it. Its condition at the time was poor in the sense that it was left dry docked for over 10 years at a boat yard in Kingston, Ontario where it took on every season with a lack of protection from the weather entering the living quarters and casting an ice age over the winter. After spending some time breaking the ice and removing the snow the hull became exposed and we surveyed the condition of the fiberglass and overall it was in good shape. throughout the months we have come across a far way from where we were in the beginning with second thoughts of even taking on the task. We have read your posts with great interest and were wondering if we might possibly be able to communicate with you regarding specifications to your Chance 30 in regards to personal experiences and over all construction layout parameters.

    safe sailing
    Max
